Kenneth S. Olson

Kenneth Olson is a Senior Linguistics Consultant for SIL International. He has taught at the University of North Dakota, the University of Oregon, the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics, the Bangui Evangelical School of Theology, and SIL’s European Training Programme in England and France. He was a chercheur associé at the Laboratoire Parole et Langage in Aix-en-Provence from 2012 to 2015. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago. Olson’s specialties are phonology, phonetics, historical linguistics, and language documentation. He has done field research on Mono, an Ubangian language spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
