Kenneth Olson is a Senior Linguistics Consultant for SIL International. He has taught at the University of North Dakota, the University of Oregon, the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics, the Bangui Evangelical School of Theology, and SIL’s European Training Programme in England and France. He was a chercheur associé at the Laboratoire Parole et Langage from 2002–2005. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago.
Olson’s specialties are phonological theory, acoustic and articulatory phonetics, historical linguistics, and language documentation. He has done field research on Mono, an Ubangian language spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
