| Abstract | Tok Pisin (TP) is a lingua franca and language of wider communication in Papua New Guinea. In this article we introduce and examine a number of TP idioms that use body parts, numbers, descriptors, verb phrases, compounds and other elements. Our presentation is intended to supplement resources on TP that have previously described a similar category (idioms) using a variety of strategies. |
