Description:
This is Mila Mandan's story. She is a National Bible translator into her own language Burum-Mindik, which is spoken by about 7000 people in Papua New Guinea. Most of them live on the high mountain ranges between Lae and Finschhafen and some 1000 of them live in Lae and other towns of Papua New Guinea. She tells how she became a National Bible translator and Bible teacher. While working and studying in her home area, in Ukarumpa and in Finland, she became a Christian and learned how to live and work as a Christian. She traveled to Finland in 1993 to visit Soini and Kaija Olkkonen.
