Este manual de ejercicos provee datos lingüísticos que pueden servir como introducción a las diversas estructuras morfosintácticas que existen en los idiomas del mundo. Así mismo, ofrece ejercicios que no necesitan datos adicionales ni instrucciones especiales para su análisis; de esta manera un ejercicio puede ser útil para ilustrar distintos rasgos de interés en cursos de morfología y sintaxis.

This collection of exercises (written for Spanish-speaking students) provides sets of linguistic data which can serve as an introduction to the diverse morphosyntactic structures which exist in the languages of the world. The exercises are self-contained; they do not need additional data or special instructions to be analyzed, so that they can serve as useful illustrations of various matters of interest in courses on morphology and syntax.

En esta cuarta edición del manual se corrigen algunos errores de la tercera edición. Además, se incluye una nueva tabla de referencias a ejercicios en otras colleciones en inglés compiladas por William Merrifield y otros. (La tercera edición ya no está disponible. Se publicaron estas dos ediciones solamente en forma electrónica. La edición impresa más reciente es la segunda.)

The fourth edition of the manual corrects some errors that appeared in the third edition and adds a table of cross-references to exercises in similar collections compiled in English by William Merrifield and others. (The third edition is no longer available. These two editions were published only in electronic form; the most recent print edition is the second.)
