A pro-adjective is a pro-form that substitutes for an adjective or adjective phrase.

Example (French)
 
  • The word le is a pro-adjective, as in the following:

    Jean est grand mais je ne le suis pas
    Jean is tall but I NEG PRO_ADJ am not
    ‘Jean is tall, but I’m not.’
