Secondary sorting fields are tie-breakers for the primary sorting field.
For example, suppose you sort lexical database entries by semantic domains (i.e., \sd is the primary sorting field). Ordinarily, you want entries in the same domain to be sorted by lexeme and homonym number (i.e., \lx and \hm are secondary sorting fields). To select the sorting fields, choose Sorting from the Database menu.
