Keyswap (Experimental)

Current version: 1.2, released 24 Feb 1988

Keyswap, a keyboard enhancer program, provides a flexible way to redefine a user's keystrokes according to a memory-resident table of translations. Any one- or two-character sequence can be translated into any other sequence of zero or more characters. This allows users to define custom keyboards to fit their needs and preferences. The primary motivation for developing this enhancer was to provide convenient access to the IBM extended character set (character codes 128 through 255).
